Breakfast and brunch in Tangier: choosing your table on the Corniche
Msemen, baghrir, eggs, pastries or a brunch to share: how to choose where to start your day in Tangier, and what we serve in the morning at Vintage.

Whether you are passing through Tangier or live nearby, the question comes up quickly in the morning: where to sit down to start the day well? The right place depends less on a ranking than on a few simple criteria. Here they are, followed by what you will find at Vintage.
Five criteria for choosing where to have breakfast
- Opening time. Some cafés only open late in the morning. If you set off early or want a proper breakfast, check the hours before you walk over.
- A readable menu, with prices. Being able to compare the sets in dirhams before sitting down avoids surprises.
- Room for the group. For two or for four, a brunch to share changes how you choose.
- Practical comfort. Wi-Fi, parking, a terrace: three details that matter more than you think.
- The atmosphere. You often stay an hour or more: better if the place makes you want to linger.
Moroccan-style breakfast, and the rest
At Vintage, the morning reads first as sets: Menu Fassi, Jebli, Traditionnel for the Moroccan breakfast, with msemen, baghrir and harcha, but also more Western sets, Spanish or protein. You can also build your own from the menu: fried eggs, omelettes, toasts and croques, or a simple pastry with a coffee.
To go with it, the menu offers fresh juices (orange, lemon, pineapple, banana, avocado) and extras such as amlou. The detail of each dish, its choices and its price are on the online menu.

A brunch for two or for the family
The “Nos brunchs” section is designed for sharing: Valentine for two people and Family for four. It is the simplest option when you are several and don’t want to choose dish by dish. The French toast (sweet, Nutella, banana and caramel or red fruits) also makes a very good second course.
The place: a vintage décor, open from 7:30 am to 2:00 am
Vintage is open every day from 7:30 am to 2:00 am: you come for breakfast, and you can come back for an afternoon coffee or an evening out. The décor is the one that gave it its name: portraits, filament bulbs, a red phone box, bricks. The café has Wi-Fi, parking and a terrace, a few metres from the Corniche.
